“Doug was a great role model and friend to me. He was my basketball coach with my oldest brother, Pat. The team never won a game; it was effortless to get down on yourself after a game. Doug made sure to keep our heads high and enjoy the time we had playing a game that he loved. Doug taught me that the point of life is to be happy. That no matter how low your cup of water is, always think the glass is half full. I try to live by that every day, especially with how scary and tough things are now with Coronavirus. I miss Doug, and I hope to leave a legacy as Doug did.”
